Alpha
ALPHA is a low-pressure, fun and informative basic course on Christianity for those who are interested in the Christian faith or feel they need a refresher. It is a place to relax, share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life.
We will be starting our next Alpha course in the autumn. Alpha courses are usually held weekly in the evenings in the Church Centre Family Room. The course starts with a welcome drink and meal followed by coffee, a talk on the subject of the evening followed by a discussion time in small groups where people have the chance to say just what they like. The evening starts at 7.30pm and finishes by 9.45pm. There is no charge for the course; all we ask is for a contribution to the cost of the meal. Alpha is an international organisation designed particularly to help people who are exploring the Christian faith and who have questions about it. Many people have found it very helpful and it is particularly relevant to you if you are thinking about the Christian faith, perhaps because you are considering a baptism for a recent addition to the family.
